Capone

The Capone was a product of the desire to create an amp that would be as versatile as it was smooth and easy to use.  Totaling only one watt of pure Class A, single ended power, this amp stands as one of the most sonically refined amps  we have to offer.  In order to add to the versatility of this amp, both channels can be used at the same time in any combination desired, adding an infinite amount of tones available to the user.  Oh, and this amp takes pedals extraordinarily well!

Clean

The primary sound of Capone is centered around two 12ax7's.  Aimed to give the perfect clean tone, this amp can best be described as glassy and smooth.  The EQ controls allows the user to go from scooped cleans to a more natural mid forward sound, covering a massive range of sonic beauty and accommodating any guitar thrown at it.  Capone takes the classic American sound and gives it the clarity, versatility and body it always needed.

Crunch

The Crunch control is actually a separate preamplifier entirely from the rest of Capone, but is always live and able to be mixed with the clean channel.  This preamp is driven by an EF806 (EF86) and has been designed to offer an entirely different sound than the clean channel.  This channel is a more mid forward sound that can breakup as much of as little as desired, and when blending it into a more scooped sound from the clean channel, you really can tap into the best of both worlds!

Power Amp

The Capone's power amp centers around the 12au7 tube which gives it an incredible amount of clarity and chime.  This power amp allows you to access incredible tones at bedroom volume, making it absolutely perfect for studios of all sizes as well as live environments.  Bring your studio amp on the road with you!

Line Level Direct Output

Each Hendyamps 1w guitar amp comes with the ability to send a line level unbalanced direct out.  The volume of this output is controlled by a knob on the front panel and the signal is sent post power amp and output transformer.  This means that direct recording for later reamping or cab simulator purposes will retain the tone from the entire amplifier.
